This is a blog right?

I think I finally have something to say...
I have always loathed blogging, plurking, facebooking, etc. I only conform to keep up appearances. I do not side with any one blog or blogger about any topic, please don't take what I'm saying out of context. If you do, I hope one day you do get a life and it goes well for you.
I've heard tons of people speak negatively about certain blogs and/or bloggers and it's starting to really amuse me. The blog "The Rumor" has a terrible reputation for making nasty observations about things that people have made for Second Life etc.. I find it hilarious that people will call it evil or "the devil" and continue to read it! Personally, I think the people of "The Rumor" are smarter than we all give them credit for! It's a tabloid! They are nasty on purpose! They ruffle your feathers and get people worked up. Whether good or bad, if they blog about you, they are thinking about you! Which means that you are getting noticed and subsequently free exposure to more people!  The fact of the matter is that the level of experience and mastery of creation in Second Life varies according to the user. It's not your fault if you aren't as good at making shoes as the next avatar! Some of these people have gone to college for this crap and do it everyday for RL!
Embrace the feedback and learn from it. Next time, maybe you should get feedback from many HONEST people before releasing your items OR just don't get so upset when you do get feedback. The bloggers are doing exactly what gets them noticed and they are getting you noticed too.
